  • Do you have to become a member to attend Sociale events?

    No, all events can be attended with or without a membership (although we really think you should buy a membership and get great perks and discounts!). All of our events are pay-as-you-go.

  • Can I sign up with a friend?

    Yes. You can register with your girlfriends. Sociale activities are fun to experience with your friends and also a great place to meet new ones!

  • Why are there no men at these events?

    Sociale caters to women who share similar interests and want to build their network. Eventually we will be hosting mixed events for both men and women.

  • What is the age range for activities?

    Being a woman is sexy no matter what age you are! If you want to learn new things and meet other awesome women like yourself, sign up!

  • What is the Dress Code for events?

    The type of event will determine if you should be wearing casual attire or if you should go all out! For cooking events and do- it- yourself activities, you will be provided with aprons so you won’t get dirty! (Indicated on event page)

  • What if I need to cancel? What if I am going to be late? No-shows…

  • What if I don’t want to pay online?

    If you prefer not to pay online you may choose to make a payment by telephone or make arrangements to pay other ways. Please send us an email at info@socialemontreal.com to reserve your spot and coordinate payment.

  • Do I need to pay upfront?

    Yes. Your spot in the event or class is not secured until payment has been received.

  • How soon after registering will I be sent my confirmation?

    You will receive an Eventbrite™ confirmation once payment is received.

  • Is the Eventbrite™ site secure?

  • Where are the workshops held?

    Workshops will take place in theme specific locations around the city. We will do our utmost to make sure the venues are accessible to all of our clients. Classes/topics are led by experts and venues are chosen based on theme.

  • What time do the events begin and end?

    Most of our workshops begin at either 6:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. and are held on weekday evenings or weekends. Workshops will last 2 to 3 hours. Please be on time.

  • How many attendees will there be per workshop?

    Workshop size will vary depending on how many people the venue can accommodate. Our goal is to keep it intimate.

  • Can you run Sociale workshops for private groups?

    Yes! Sociale will be happy to organize workshops of your choice for private groups (bachelorettes, birthdays, corporate etc.). Just send an e-mail to info@socialemontreal.com with some information about your group and we’ll take it from there.
