(CNN Spanish) — The Chiapas Attorney General’s Office said Tuesday through a statement that they are looking for administrative workers of the Secretary of Safety and Protection of Chiapas Citizens whose whereabouts are unknown.
The Chiapas attorney’s office did not say in its statement whether these state workers have been kidnapped or how many workers are missing. He said the disappearances are being investigated as a crime.
CNN tried to contact the Chiapas Attorney General’s Office for more information on the case but received no response.
