(CNN Spanish) — The Mexican Football Federation informed this Wednesday through its Official site the appointment of Jaime Lozano as the new coach of the senior national football team.
Lozano together with his technical staff has already had the first meeting with the national team, which is concentrated for the 2023 Gold Cup.
The new coach was introduced to the team by Ivar Sisniega, executive president of the FMF, and by Duilio Davino, sports director of the senior men’s SNM.

Lozano’s first game with the senior squad will be this Sunday against Honduras for Group B of the 2023 Gold Cup, which will be played in Houston.
