The prosecutor’s office in Sonora, Mexico, said Thursday that Yesenia Guadalupe Durazo Cota, a member of the Sonora Mothers Searching Collective, returned home “on her own feet” after being reported missing on Sunday. Durazo Cota returned injured and announced that she will abandon the search for her husband, who has been missing since 2020.
